The static electric ball just makes you smile and the electric hairstyles it creates are fantastic…so much fun, have you tried?

An electricity demonstration is not complete (especially now according to my girls) without a Van de Graaff generator, it simply is so much fun and such a laugh.  Another reason to visit the Ontario Science Centre.

There is something so unique watching young people’s minds be illuminated, the spark you could say when a new knowledge is learnt, or when they work something out for the first time.

In this case, the moment the girls are shown a mirror and what has now happened to their hair, hope you can agree that the initial reaction is absolutely priceless, it gives the phrase of having a ‘bad hair day’ a whole new meaning!

As soon as their turn was over, they were literally buzzing with excitement, they were both electrifyingly adorable.

While in that moment of fascination, they both turned to me and asked Baba, why don’t you have a go?   What followed was great, as they realised what they had asked me, and realised that my lack of hair would prevent such a spectacle, I told them that I would try it but I don’t want to ruin my eyebrows, they had to think about that one for a moment!
